The setting is beautiful, sitting in the Vendeen Bocage in about 1 acre of land with a river running across the bottom of the garden. The house easily sleeps 6, and can manage 8.
The local area is peaceful and offers many attractive villages / towns to explore, along with miles and miles of open country side and forest, plenty of picturesque walks can be found near by.
The house is situated 6 km outside of Pouzauges, which has all the facilities you could hope for; it is also within 20 km of the Grand Parc du Puy du Fou, which is a fantastic place to visit, both during the day and for the extra special night time show.
We've set the change over day to be Friday this year, mainly from customer feedback as ferries are so much cheaper to get during the week and the roads are less crowded.
